What this policy covers
This policy explains how Cella Bot, also called Cella, we, us, or our, handles information connected with the Cella Discord bot, dashboard, public guides, billing, and support. It applies when you use Cella or contact us about it.
Information Cella receives
Discord sign-in and server access
When you sign in to the dashboard through Discord, Cella receives the Discord account information needed to identify your session and Discord user ID. Cella requests Discord's identify and guilds access so it can show the servers available to your account and verify whether you have authority to manage a server.
For servers you manage, Cella processes server information such as guild IDs, names, icons, ownership or permission indicators, and relevant channel or role information used by dashboard features. Cella also uses Discord data to verify that the bot is installed where a dashboard action requires it.
Configuration and operational data
Cella stores configuration and operational data needed for the features a server chooses to use. Depending on those features, this can include server settings, channel and role IDs, command or logging settings, embed drafts and published-message pointers, scheduled-announcement content and delivery status, plan status, and dashboard audit records describing settings changes.
Authorized Cella platform staff can also upload images for Cella guides. Cella stores the uploaded image, its file metadata, and the guide/media records needed to display and manage those images.
Billing information
Paid plans use Stripe. Cella stores the billing records needed to connect a Discord server to a Stripe customer, subscription, checkout, or Lifetime entitlement and to process verified billing events. Payment-card details are processed by Stripe and are not entered into or stored directly by Cella's dashboard.
Support communications
If you email support@cella-bot.xyz or contact the Cella Support Server, we receive the information you choose to include so we can respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, Discord tokens, payment-card numbers, API keys, webhook secrets, or other credentials.
How Cella uses information
- To authenticate dashboard users and verify server-management authority.
- To provide, maintain, and secure Cella's bot, dashboard, guides, settings, and scheduled-delivery features.
- To process billing, prevent duplicate or unauthorized billing actions, and maintain plan entitlements.
- To investigate service problems, support requests, misuse, and security concerns.
- To maintain operational records such as configuration history and billing-event processing.
Service providers and disclosures
Cella relies on service providers to operate the service, including Discord for account and server integrations, Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services, Stripe for billing, and the hosting providers used to deliver the dashboard. Those providers process information under their own terms and policies.
Cella sends information to the relevant provider only when needed to operate its integration, such as Discord account and server requests, Supabase authentication and storage operations, or Stripe checkout and billing actions.
Sessions and cookies
Cella uses Supabase authentication session cookies. After Discord sign-in, Cella also uses an HttpOnly Discord provider-token cookie to obtain your authorized server list for the dashboard. These technologies are used for sign-in, session continuity, and server-access verification rather than for an advertising feature.
Retention and security
Cella keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting obligations, and protect the service. The implementation does not establish one fixed retention period for every kind of record.
We use reasonable measures intended to protect information, including server-side handling for sensitive service credentials and verification checks around dashboard and billing actions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy questions
You can sign out of the dashboard, manage the settings for servers you are authorized to manage, cancel eligible recurring billing through the available billing controls, and contact us about a privacy-related request. You may ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of information; some records may need to be retained for service, billing, dispute, security, or legal reasons. For help with personal or server-related information, email support@cella-bot.xyz and include enough detail for us to understand the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Cella changes. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the last-updated date.
